'Mankind Under Threat', sculpture by Jimmy Boyle, 1985, originally installed in Queen's Gardens. The commemorative plaque reads: 'Mankind under Threat by Jimmy Boyle and others from the Gateway in Edinburgh. The gift of Susan and Alec Horsley. International Year of Peace 1986'. Planning approval 22 July 2016 to relocate the bronze statue to Hanover Square, adjacent to the Treasury and opposite the Guildhall.
