What is now workshops for Theo Davies and Sons used to be one of three mills in Glyn Ceiriog. This mill, known as Lower Mill, was built in 1818 as a fulling mill, to clean the natural greases from wool. They produced flannel and later cloth and blankets. It stopped production in 1947.
