Currently the premises of William Lloyd butchers, this early-to-mid 19th century town house was Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300008416-no5-heol-maengwynpowys-machynlleth#.WoU6IfnFKM8 in 1990. No 7 is also listed, but the description is exactly the same as that for no 5.
