A group of ten 16-19 year olds with special educational needs from Melland High School's sixth form, inspired by the GRAHAM Construction Murrays' Mills project https://www.graham.co.uk/projects/building-residential-murrays-mill and the works of renowned Lancashire artist L.S. Lowry, created their own artwork of the old mill buildings. The Melland High School http://www.melland.manchester.sch.uk/ pupils developed 11 pieces of artwork that were converted into waterproof panels. With the approval of the Manchester Life Development Company, GRAHAM arranged for the display of the panels on the Murrays’ Mills site hoardings on Bengal Street. The display was entered for the 2017 Ivor Goodsite Hoarding Competition https://www.ccscheme.org.uk/ivor-goodsite-hoarding-competition/ Image Image Image
