Part of the old Bala and Ffestiniog Railway near Llan Ffestiniog. The line connected Bala with Blaenau Ffestiniog and this section between Blaenau and Trawsfynydd power station has remained in situ since the line closed in 1961. In 2019 a limited company named the Bala and Festiniog Railway Heritage Trust was created to preserve the history of the old line between Bala and Ffestiniog and to explore options of how to restore the line between Trawsfynydd and Ffestiniog to operational use.
