The Station stands immediately opposite the railway station at Knebworth. It was built in 1883 but was sold in February 2017 by Greene King to a residential developer. It is currently closed, awaiting its fate which depends on the outcome of a planning application. As the only pub in the village its closure has aroused strong passions locally and there is a campaign to save it.
