Church of St Michael, Macclesfield ? Savage Chapel

The most substantial remaining medieval section of the church, the three-storey porch forms a tower in its own right. It was built between 1505 and 1507 as a chantry chapel by Thomas Savage, Archbishop of York. The church is Listed Grade II*.
