The A6 approaching Salford Cathedral. On the left is the former Manchester & Salford Savings Bank, built in 1885 and now used as offices. Next door on the left used to be the Peel Park Inn. http://pubs-of-manchester.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Peel%20Park%20Inn%20-%20Chapel%20Street A beerhouse in 1862 it was previously owned by Yate's Castle Brewery of Ardwick. It later became a John Smiths pub but was closed in 1999 and demolished in 2013.
