Shown on 1916 Drainage Plan as Brigade Staff HQ for '2nd Rifle Brigade' for Lines E-H. The compound has an earth bank on four sides with evidence inside of building foundations and drainage. The camp was never used as a 'Divisional Camp' as units were shipped overseas after training. The camp was re-designated for training from 1916 with Lines A-D and E-F housing German POWs. Given its location beyond the E Lines it is possible that this compound would have been used as Staff HQ for the POW Camp.
