Looking down the former A57 main road into Eccles from the end of ramp leading to Metrolink Station. Since the A57 was diverted around the centre of town, Regent Road is now unclassified. On the left is the grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1084301 Lamb Hotel built in 1906 for Holt's Brewery. A classic red brick and terracotta design in 1994 CAMRA declared it a pub with a nationally important historic interior http://pubheritage.camra.org.uk/pubs/historic-pub-interior-entry.asp?NatPubID=MAN/9933&Detail=full
