Opened in 1850 by the South Staffordshire Railway, later part of the London & North Western Railway, on the line from Dudley to Lichfield, this station closed to passengers in 1964. View north east from the former Potters Lane level crossing towards Walsall and Lichfield. Amongst the undergrowth and general detritus can be seen the track in situ, and to its left, the end of the northbound platform.
