As discussed at Image, the poor condition of the ruins means that I cannot be sure about the nature of these stones, but there may have been steps here leading up to a smaller room. Note the round hole in the stone on the left, perhaps for a door bolt; the other stone does not have such a hole in it. I was reminded of a very similar feature that I had photographed in 2010 in a different ruin, only a few miles away: Image
