Opened in 1885 by the Hull and Barnsley Railway on its line from Hull to Cudworth (it never reached Barnsley), this station closed to passengers in 1955 and completely in 1964. View west towards South Cave and Cudworth. The station building was a private residence, and notably the platform shelter was also extant, when this image was taken. See http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/l/little_weighton/index.shtml for more details.
