Opened in 1864 by the Hull & Hornsea Railway, soon to be part of the North Eastern Railway, on the line between its namesakes. Wilmington was, for a few weeks the western terminus of the line. However, from 1 June 1864, trains ran from the city's Paragon station. Wilmington closed in 1912 when it was replaced by a new station to the west of Cleveland Street (now Stoneferry Road). View east towards Sutton-on-Hull and Hornsea. The two platforms were straight ahead. All trace of a railway here has been removed.
