Chester Library in Northgate Street

This magnificent terracotta frontage to Chester library in Northgate Street was originally built as part of the Westminster Coach and Motor Car Works in the early 1900s, and was retained when the library moved here in the 1980s. The library is being moved again as part of the Northgate Redevelopment project and once more the facade is being retained. For a close up of the top centrepiece see Image
