Closed in the 1950s, the former station building has in recent years been converted into a Lidl NI store. The image was taken from the main gate of the Slieve Donard Hotel which was built in the 1890s, as an ‘end of line’ luxury holiday destination, by the Belfast and South Down Railway Company.
