The balconies on the left enjoy a view of the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal. From the late 19th century old maps show a building on the frontage and as many as 18 greenhouses on the strip of land extending northwest. By 1938 the greenhouses had gone. By 1965-67 the site sports several blocks of flats with groups of garages.
