Opened in 1855 by the Wimbledon and Croydon Railway, which three years later became part of the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway, this station closed in 1997. Beddington Lane tram stop opened in 2000. View south east towards Therapia Lane and Croydon. The original 1855 station single platform was to the left of the track just beyond the tram platforms. There was no apparent trace of it in 2017.
