This is the Trent and Mersey Canal east of Rugeley, looking north-west towards Ash Tree Bridge No 62 and Rugeley. The bridge carries the A513 Rugeley Road. Cooling towers at Rugeley power station are on the right*. Boat crews need to take care here to avoid collision under the bridge! ;-) * The cooling towers were demolished on 6 June 2021. Other infrastructure was demolished earlier, including the chimney on 24th January 2021.
