Formerly the offices and headquarters of the Royal Commission on Ancient and Historic Monuments in Wales. 'RCAHMW' is now rebranded as 'Coflein', and most recently based a little way back in Aber, near the National Library. Their archive is a rich source of information relating to many photographs on the Geograph website. This building dates from the early 19th century, and was given a Grade II* listing in 1987, citing its well preserved facade and interior fittings.
