Broadcasting House, on the corner of Linenhall Street West, Bedford Street and Ormeau Avenue, was built in 1936-39, to a design by James Miller of Glasgow. The sand-faced brick is not common in Belfast. The building, however, gains something from being on a curve. A major cleaning a few years ago worked wonders.
