The Walk follows bridleway 15 1/3/1 to the left at this junction, whereas NCN688 keeps right. Both forks soon meet the road from Fountains Hall past the farm (see Image for the road to the right). The road behind the camera (and that to the right) is the access road for vehicles to the main entrance to Fountains Abbey, and is named Abbey Road on at least one map.
