The Ropeworks Bridge, a short distance upstream from the Connswater Link, built as part of the Connswater Greenway scheme. The name comes from the almost-forgotten Belfast Ropeworks which previously occupied the site (now the Connswater Retail Park). This link http://www.surreyknots.org.uk/belfast_ropework_company.pdf is to a copy of the company’s brochure which includes an aerial drawing of the entire site. The course of the Connswater is clearly visible.
