Stone post (plates lost) by the A354, in parish of Winterborne Monkton (West Dorset District), immediately South of the A35 roundabout on embankment, on West side of road. Erected by the Weymouth, Melcombe Regis & Dorchester Turnpike Trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- : (Dorchester 1) : : (Weymouth 7) : Milestone Society National ID: DO_DOWM01.
