Glamorgan Archives serve the former county of Glamorgan which includes the present-day City of Cardiff and the County Borough Councils of Bridgend, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Vale of Glamorgan. Glamorgan Archives store records relating to the history of Glamorgan and its people. Records include papers, plans, photographs, parchments, personal diaries and council minutes. In 2017, the Archives are open to the public from 1pm to 5pm on Mondays and from 10am to 5pm Tuesdays-Fridays.
