The Chapter House was formerly the King's Arms. The building with the name on is grade II*(star) listed, from around 1500. The externally timbered part is grade I listed, 15th century. The next build to the right was formerly part of the pub, now a shop, grade II*(star) listed. The upper storey door was formerly used to access the top of coaches. The low timbered building at the extreme left is also grade II*(star) listed, of similar age. The drab building behind the lady with the pram is looked at more closely in Image
