On the rebuilt Jakenett's Almshouses at 94 King Street (now a private residence): Joseph Merrill Late of this Town, Gentleman, at his Deceaſe, in the Year 1805, bequeathed to the Truſtees of Storey's Charity Cambridge, the Sum of 1667 Pounds, Stock in the three per Cent Consolidated Bank Annuities. In Trust that they cauſe the Dividends arising from the ſame to be distributed halfyearly to the poor Inhabitants of theſe Almſhouſes. See also Image, and for the context see Nigel Chadwick's Image
