Looking up Swains Lane towards a communications mast. Highgate is elevated above the surrounding area and has views across the centre of London, making it ideal as a communications site, although some of the microwave dishes have certainly seen better days. The site has a long history dating back to 1936. Information on the site can be found here: http://tx.mb21.co.uk/gallery/swains-lane.php
