At the corner, opposite the junction with Queen Street, is the neo-classical Lloyds Bank. Next to it is Invertere Buildings, associated with the Invertere Coat Company. Both buildings must date from the first decade of the C20. They seem to be surviving better than the 1960s Bridge House on the extreme right.
