According to the Historic England website this house is named 'The Cottage', it is Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1265934 and dates from the 18th century but was remodelled in 1912 by Alan James for Frederick Edwin Smith, 1st Earl of Birkenhead, barrister and Conservative politician. A plaque below the cherub above the pediment is dated 1912.
