Carved stone post by the B3233, in parish of FREMINGTON (NORTH DEVON District), between Fremington and Yelland, opposite private road to Gibbs Barton, on the verge, behind path, in brambles, just East of lamp post, on North side of road. Barum tombstone, erected by the Barnstaple turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 4 BARUM Carved benchmark on top face. Milestone Society National ID: DV_BSBF04
