Carved stone post by the A37, in parish of MELBURY SAMPFORD (WEST DORSET District), Melbury Bubb, by entrance to Evershott Farm and Hazel Dairy, on West side of road. Dorset 3 (limestone), erected by the Maiden Newton turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 6 Maiden Newton 7 Yeovil Carved benchmark lower centre of front face. Milestone Society National ID: DO_MNYO06.
