Cast iron post by the A511 (was A50), in parish of WOODVILLE (SOUTH DERBYSHIRE District), Ashby Road; Woodville, by drive of No. 73, to left of drive, on verge, between path and hedge, on North side of road. Wootton iron casting, erected by the Ashby de la Zouch to Tutbury turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : LOUGHBORO / 15 / MILES : : BLACKFORDBY / PARISH : : BURTON / ON-TRENT / 6 / MILES : : WOOTTON BROS / IRONWORKS / COALVILLE : Milestone Society National ID: DE_BTAZ06.
