Cast iron post by the B6019, in parish of SOUTH NORMANTON (BOLSOVER District), by 60A, The Common, South Normanton, on grass verge between road and path, on South side of road. Midworth iron casting, erected by the Alfreton & Mansfield turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : ALFRETON / 2 / MILES : : SOUTH / NORMANTON : : MANSFIELD / 7 / MILES : Maker: : MIDWORTH / MANSFIELD 1828 : Grade II Listed.
