Concrete post by the B5035, in parish of CRICH (AMBER VALLEY District), bottom of hill, North East of Crich village, on grass verge in front of hedge, on North side of road. Concrete replacement; original erected by the Oakerthorpe & Ashbourne turnpike trust in the 20th century. Inscription reads:- : ALFRETON / 4 MILES : : ASHBOURNE / 15 MILES / WIRKSWORTH / 5 MILES : Milestone Society National ID: DE_AFAB04.
