Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of STITHIANS (KERRIER District), Tubbins, West of kennels, on bend, near Showground, on bank, on South side of road. Truro stone, erected by the Truro turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- FROM TRURO 8 MILES Carved benchmark on lower face. Grade II Listed.
