The milestone is located on an unclassified road north of Penhalurick Barton, against the hedge on the overgrown verge, on the west side of road. Parish of Stithians (Kerrie District). Carved stone post, erected by the parish in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- REDRUTH 2¼ CARN MENELLIS 2 HELSTON 8½ Carved benchmark on mid face over inscription.
