Cast iron post by the B5074, in parish of Worleston (Crewe and Nantwich District), Main Road, by council houses, on verge, on West side of road. Cast iron CCC1896, erected by the County Council in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : WORLESTON / ½ MILE / CHURCH / MINSHULL 3 / OVER 7 / WINSFORD 7½ : : CHESHIRE / 1896 / COUNTY COUNCIL : : NANTWICH / 3 MILES : Maker:- : W H SMITH & CO / MAKERS / WHITCHURCH : Milestone Society National ID: CH_NWWF03
