Cast iron post by the A537, in parish of Henbury (Macclesfield District), Chelford Road; East of Henbury crossroads, on bank by hawthorn hedge, on North side of road. Old acorn open book, erected by the Macclesfield & Nether Tabley turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : MACCLESFIELD / 2 MILES : : HENBURY : : KNUTSFORD / 9 MILES : Milestone Society National ID: CH_KFMF09
