Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of Sawston (South Cambridgeshire District), High Street, South of Kingfisher Close, in front of No. 136, on the verge, on West side of road. Erected by the Stump Cross turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- TO CAMBRIDGE 7 MILES TO LONDON 47 Cambridgeshire HER.
