Carved stone post by the A40, in parish of Stokenchurch (Wycombe District), Wycombe Road; at junction with Marlow Road, B482, on wide grass verge between path and hedge, on North side of road. Beaconsfield diamond pillar, erected by the Beaconsfield & Stokenchurch turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 36 MILES TO LONDON Buckinghamshire HER.
