Carved stone post by the A413, in parish of Whitchurch (Aylesbury Vale District), High Street; beside Tudor House and telephone box, 5m South of No. 49, in front of notice board, on grass between tarmac path and small tree, on West side of road. Aylesbury square, erected by the Wendover & Buckingham turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- : LONDON / 45 / AYLESBURY / 5 / (WHITCHURCH) : : LONDON / 45 / BUCKINGHAM / 12 / WHITCHURCH : Grade II listed.
