Carved stone post by the B4009 (former A413), in parish of Wendover (Aylesbury Vale District), Aylesbury Road; outside Recreation Ground, on grass between road and tarmac path, on East side of road. Aylesbury square, erected by the Wendover & Buckingham turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / AYLESBURY / 4 / MILES : : TO / LONDON / 36 : Carved benchmark and rivet on top.
