Carved stone post by the A413, in parish of Wendover (Aylesbury Vale District), South Street; near turn to Church Lane for St Mary the Virgin Church, on narrow bank under hedge on bend, on West side of road. Amersham square (new), erected by the Wendover & Oak Lane turnpike trust in the 20th century. Inscription reads:- LONDON 35 MISSENDEN 4 Buckinghamshire HER.
