Carved stone post by the A4, in parish of Slough (Slough District), Bath Road; Burnham at junction with Elmshott Road (opposite Station Road), South East corner, beside traffic lights controlling the junction and a pedestrian crossing, set in the wide pavement some way in front of shops, on South side of road. Bath Road limestone diamond, erected by the Colnbrook, Datchet & Slough turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- : MAIDENHEAD / 3 : : LONDON / 23 : : SLOUGH / 2 : Carved benchmark on lower front right face. Grade II listed.
