Carved stone post by the A4130 (was A423), in parish of Hurley (Windsor and Maidenhead District), Henley Road; Hurley Bottom, opposite Honey Lane to Grasslands Research Institute, outside White House, on wide grass verge, behind path, on North side of road. Hurley pillar, erected by the Hurley turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- XXXI Miles To London To Henley IIII Rivet benchmark on top. Grade II listed.
