Carved stone post by the A4, in parish of Wargrave (Wokingham District), Bath Road; Kiln Green, opposite Knowl Hill Garage, on grass behind path and against a fence, on South side of road. Bath Road limestone pillar, erected by the Maidenhead turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / READING / 8 / MILES / BATH / 77 : : Parish of / WARGRAVE / 1824 : : TO / HYDE PARK / CORNER / 31 / MILES / MAIDENHEAD / 5 / COLNBROOK / 14 : Rivet benchmark on top.
