Carved stone post by the B4017, in parish of Drayton (Vale of White Horse District), Abingdon Road; 20m South of junction with Sutton Wick Lane, in hedge on grass verge, on East side of road. Vale triangular with insets, erected by the Chilton Pond & Abingdon turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : ABINGDON / 2 : : ILSLEY / 9 : Rivet benchmark on top. Grade II listed.
