A former water mill, standing astride the Hogsmill river. According to an interpretation board nearby, there were 'several' water mills on the upper Hogsmill in early medieval times, but just two (upper and lower) remained by 1408. The present Upper Mill building dates from 1810, and milled flour until 1953. It was converted for use as offices in 1984.
