Built in 1792 under the auspices of the famed engineer Thomas Telford, who at the time was the county surveyor for Salop, this bridge was Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101366920-montford-bridge-montford#.WimVhdSLTGg in 1952.
